Workshop on film making from May 15
TIRUCHI: The Nimai Gosh Film Society and Learn Cinema would host a workshop on film making here from May 15 to 22.
The workshop will be open to students aged above 14 and adults.
The workshop is aimed at providing firsthand exposure to the participants to the art and craft of cinema and get them involved in the art of telling stories through the medium of picture.
It would provide hands-on learning experience in the basics of cinema, including photography, sequential art, story telling, screen writing, the grammar of cinema, lighting, camera work, directing and an introduction to editing.
The learning experience would culminate with a production of a short film conceived and made by the participants, especially students.
The fee for the workshop will be Rs.4,000 per head. Certificates would be issued to all participants.
