Emotionally attached to Trichy

Compared to other cities in Tamil Nadu, Trichy is the only town which has Trichy Makkal to be emotionally attached to the Trichy city itself.

If you ask any one from Trichy - he/she would be proud to be from Trichy and they are always emotionally attached to Trichy.

There is association to the city with themselves for the innocence in people, Trichy non-industrialization and being an emotional village. Any one from Trichy would be interested to see improvements to Trichy and there would be interest to contribute to anything good for Trichy.

Recently, choreographer turned actor Harikumar - "Trichy Sambavam movie" pugazh..said in an interview that he is emotionally attached to Trichy town and he loves the Trichy city for the innocence of people there in Trichy.

Mattuthavani Movie from Trichy

Director Pavitharan, once a popular director in Tamil film industry, is back after a brief interval with Mattuthavani.

Pavithran established a place for himself in Tamil cinema rendering hit films including Suriyan, Vasanthakala Paravaigal and Indu.

He makes a comeback with Mattuthavani, a movie set around a prominent place in Trichy. The highlight of the movie is that a song was sung by M K Muthu, a veteran actor and son of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.
