Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi visited top two IT companies today to get a first hand feel of the IT boom here, evoking a swift response from Infosys which committed a Rs 1,250 crore investment to expand its operations in Chennai.
He had also asked IT companies to invest in tier II cities like Trichy, Coimbatore etc., There is a potential of employment of 25,000 personnels through IT companies.
