It was a pleasurable moment on 16th August 2010 at Don Bosco, Trichy on the special occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Don Bosco, Saint and the Founder of Salesian Congregation.
The celebration started with a Holy Mass in which the Salesians of Don Bosco and the children, youth and public participated. Rev. Fr. Arockiam, Administrator headed the celebration along with Fr. Sebastian Jacob, Head Master, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and Vice Rector and the Salesians and Salesian cooperators. On the same day the Bible day celebration also was celebrated in Don Bosco, Trichy. The students of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Trichy gathered for both the celebrations and participated and enjoyed in the events and cultural activities. An exhibition foot ball match was conducted. The present students and the Alumni of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School contested each other with a friendly spirit. On the whole, the day was everyone`s day for all whoever took part in all the celebrations.
