Trichy as one of the sensitive spots - Tight security in Trichy

The state police have identified 11 hyper sensitive areas in the state on the eve of Ayodhya case verdict and have deployed 10,000 personnel from Tamil Nadu Special Police. These personnel have already been deployed in their respective areas since Wednesday afternoon. Sensitive cities include Trichy, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Pollachi, Tirupur, Kanyakumari, Muthupettai, Tiruchi, Hosur and Mettupalayam.
