If you get a chance, check out indiatogether.org, which I think it is the "New Indian Express" of NGOs/NPOs.
They cover many topics like Agriculture, Education, Children, Economy, Environment, Culture, Media, Law, Poverty etc., issues in this online news paper of NGOs.
Most importantly, they provide free advertisement for NGOs. The two main editors are Ashwin Mahesh and Subramanian Vincent, though there are many columnists and writers.
This site gives more insight and helps us to understand many perspectives of the issues in India.
