The new Trichy city police commissioner, S Chidambarasamy took charge on 29th of May. He conveyed that the present strength is 3,000 police personnel for Trichy and that is more than enough for maintenance of law and order in Trichy.
He said his priority would be the peace and tranquility of the Trichy city. After that comes traffic congestion, but he promised to make sure all of these gets solved.
He also mentioned that there are problems in the police department and the personnel inside the department only. He would give atmost attention to those "kalais".
He also requested the trichy people's co-operation for effective and efficient work of the police department of Trichy!!
Sounds like one another good sign for Trichy!!
