At a discussion on the proposed park, organised by the Trichy Textile Exporters' Association (MTEA), here, the Commissioner, Handloom Textiles, Ms Leena Nair, the District Collector, Mr S. Ramachandran, the president of the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr S. Rethinavelu, and the secretary of MTEA, Mr K.P.S. Selvaraj, participated.
A private company is planning on an apparel park in Trichy - of which expenses will be shared by the Union and State governments.
