The Tamil Nadu Chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) said that it would stress on establishing IT parks in Trichy, Trichy and Coimbatore in the coming financial year.
They pointed out that the recent survey on Skill Mapping in Tamil Nadu State showed a gap between 'what the industries want' and what is 'available out there in quality and quantity - CII would promote skill development initiatives.
Looks like CII is going to work with ITIs and engineering colleges to fill this gap.
